New car..

Latest news.. TenCho is now gone! But knowing me I can't keep away from compact performance cars that make others jaws drop.. so I jave now aquired a little Toyota Starlet GT Turbo (Japanese Import). Another pocket rocket and I just spent a 4 figure sum on parts for him.. now to rub hands and wait for everything to arrive, but they are all handling mods to bring it up to a decent handling car.. who knows I might even make it into an Evo eater since it has a turbo engine as standard.. could have some fun..

Anyway can't be bothered with doing long Xanga posts as people who know me will get me on Facebook to see the pics and progress and for people who don't well... don't expect me to update this anytime soon!

Another wordy update.. too lazy to upload pics.. and to be hoenst I've got into the habit of just getting my hands dirty and doing the work I need to do to the car and be finished with it.. no time to sit around and take pics :p

Anyhow.. changes that have taken place are: A Xenon H.I.D kit has been fitted and it does really work wonders making everything much brighter.. now I can actually drive at night and see the roads properly!! Also got a brand spanking new Tanabe Sustec H brace to replace the Cusco single strut brace.. provides much more control for the front end because of the design.. now just need to find time to fit it.. also got a OEM Civic EG rear bumper.. need to sell off the old one with the lip.. reason I didn't like the old one was cause it didn't show off my 5Zigen exhaust enough.. and not JDM enough for my liking ^_^ Hence its going to go.. any how when I got the bumper it was black so I had to clean it and spray several coats of red primer on it and then change it into Milano Red.. now the car looks much nicer, and from behind you can see the red rear lower strut brace and shiney lower control arms..

Next to come on the list of things to get until stage 1 is finished is a Integra Type R 1" brake master cylinder and servo, upgrade from the current 15/16" one.. having that 1/16" means alot in brake terms.. also to fit my already got braided brake lines which have sat around for litterally months!!

Also some guages to see what the new engine is up to.. my good friend and EG Saint has found me a B16 engine and gear box so come November/December time my weekends will probably be spent round his engine swapping and fine tuning everything.. and once the engine has settled in and the ECU has got itself "settled" I'll be slapping that BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox onto it..

Guess once all these things are sorted and everything installed Stage 1 will be complete and I will then leave it for a while and take it to some track days for some fun.. but in the mean time it will be paying mortgage and slowly saving up for some Stage 2 items.. one of them would be a decent set of coilover suspension, and the other is an Apexi Power FC so I can get the engine tuned perfectly and it will sing and sing ^_^

Anyway enough words for now I think most people would be bored reading so much so I'll leave it at that..

WOO HOO!! I'm soon to be jumping onto the property market ^_^v

Big drive for 2 cars garage, and extention possibilities.. or maybe one thats already been extended.. quiet neighbourhood no through traffic.. but that means very little spending on the cars from now on and no going out.. *sigh* but then again I never go out clubbing or drinking these days.. so I can save money that way ^_^v

But I do need to sort out the rust on my poor little Civic.. get the rust sorted out and depending on cost maybe a re-spray in Milano Red? Anyone know of a good body workshop around the Birmingham area who can undertake good work on my pride and joy?

Still loads of work to be done to him.. including engine swap and bucket seats.. don't have pictures of them other than the original pics of them when I saw them for sale on the sales section.

I've got one of the Recaro seats to go into the passenger side.. nice comfortable and very hugging, but a little old, but gets the job done.

Can't find the original picture I saw before I bought the seat but its still in mint condition so this is the picture of the one I got including the colour/fabric. This one is going into the driving seat, i.e my seat. Its very very confortable, so comfortable when I have it sat in my bedroom and I sit in it to chill to music I end up falling asleep lol.. and its reasonably hugging as well.. at least I won't end up falling out the window lol..

Just need to start hacking away and modify the seat rails from an EG Civic to fit this on and then bolt into the car.. but its proving to be a slow and hard process..

Guess thats enough for now.. Probably won't update for a while now..

I'm probably the worst Xanga updater on this site lol..

I've been doing tons of things since my last update.. I've been to China and back.. went with a small half full suitcase to only come back with a big suitcase stuffed full of goodies.. and I still haven't been able to get everything I wanted.. my shopping list was huge for H.K but seems like I only managed to fulfil a little bit of it.. 1 week in H.K is way not enough time.. if I wanted to be content would have needed at least 2 maybe even 3 weeks to satisfy.. but nevermind.. I'm back now and need to start saving until next summer ^_^v

Since getting back to U.K I've "dressed" up the little Ten-Cho abit with some interesting stickers and "baby on board" style signs.. planning on getting more cause they are different to the boring stuff you get here like "princess on board" "naughty person on board", how about "Lovers in car" , or "Don't litter" with an image of a bra flying out the window? JDM yo!

Also purchased some very tasty Advan lightweight racing spec alloys! Finally got a set I've been longing for and at a price people would happily offer me more than what I paid for lol.. Very JDM! And at least people can't say I stuck Advan stickers there without the mod cause I now have Advan!

Me and the little miss went to Wales for a camping trip the weekend before I was due to get the new alloys.. the weekend was pure sunshine, the weather was smiling on us all the way and boy was it fun having a blast on the empty country lanes! I defo did the right thing having big brakes as when we parked the cars up once we got to the camp site to meet up with the other people who came from other regions the brakes were definitely hot! Poor little engine was doing the business! Can't fault Hondas! Reliable as anything!

Also managed to get my grubby hands on some decent bargains! Got myself 2 bucket seats now, 1 Cobra Daytona reclining bucket seat in extremerly good condition and some Recaro reclining bucket seats in lesser condition but still do the business very well. Now the painful part is to modify the seat rails to accept these seats.. causing a low painful process.. btu I won't be beaten as always.. I WILL get these seats installed!

I can't be arsed to upload pics and eye candy for this one.. but maybe for the next one once I've sorted out he seats and the 5Zigen cat back exhaust.. got that for an absolute bargain! But before I can fit the exhaust system I need a B series engine.. got the 2.5inch Integra Type R cat for teh 5Zigen JDM length exhaust system.. just need a B series engine to bolt it all on and then experience all the extra performance ^_^v

I'm leaving this update at this as its going to test many if not everybody's patience and tolerance at reading just words.. so thats that.. next update probably in a week or so time.. or maybe longer from the likes of me..
